We’ve had such a positive response from HCi members regarding our flu vaccination campaigns over the last couple of years, that we’ve added vaccination cover to all of our extras products on a permanent basis.
This means that all HCi members with extras cover will be able to claim for various vaccinations, including an annual flu vaccination, at any time of the year. A waiting period of 2 months will apply and each person is only eligible for one flu vaccine per year.
HCi’s updated vaccination cover is available for Basic Extras members from 1 February 2024 and all other HCi Extras members from 1 April 2024. You don’t have to do anything – vaccinations will automatically be part of your cover from that start date.
Vaccination cover limits
If you have Basic extras cover, you are covered for $25 per vaccination to a $100 per person limit.
Under Active Life extras cover, you are covered for $25 per flu vaccination and $35 per other vaccination to a $175 (singles) or $350 per policy limit.
If you have Healthy extras cover, you are covered for $25 per flu vaccination and $75 per other vaccination to a $250 (singles) or $500 per policy limit.
With Premier extras cover, you are covered for $25 per flu vaccination and $100 per other vaccination to a $250 (singles) or $500 per policy limit.
