As many of our members are eligible for the Federal Government Private Health Insurance Rebate, we prepare tax information related to your health cover and send it directly to the Australian Tax Office (ATO) on your behalf each financial year. For 2024, we expect this information to be provided to the ATO on or around 14 July.
As a result, health funds are not longer required to issue a private health insurance tax statement, and members are no longer required to retain a copy for their tax records. So there’s nothing you have to do!
